Applying for a place in St Rose’s NS

Children are admitted to St Rose’s NS following an educational psychological assessment. Applications are made by the psychologist, the school or the parent/guardian of the child.

Enrolment is strictly adhered to as detailed in the Admissions Policy At the moment we have more candidates for enrolment than places.

The child must

  • Be aged between 8-12
  • Have a specific reading difficulty
  • Have average/above average intelligence

Children are enrolled for no longer than 2 years on a full time basis. The need for continued enrolment will be reviewed towards the end of their first year.

Dyslexia must be the child’s primary difficulty in order to qualify for placement in St Rose’s.

Applying for a place is quite simple. You simply complete the Application Form and send it with a COPY of the following:

  • Your child’s Educational Psychological Report
  • Any other relevant reports eg Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy etc

The school will accept applications for admissions for 2025/2026 school year between Monday 2nd September 2024 and 12pm 19th December 2024, as outlined in the Admissions Notice.
